WORKING WITH ME
-
I work with small businesses and solo professionals who care for people, animals and communities. Think therapists, wellness practitioners, tutors, food makers, nonprofits and more.
I work with both businesses and private clients in Switzerland, and with small businesses internationally, from Italy and the UK to the US and beyond.
-
Yes! I work with business clients worldwide, while private clients are welcome in Switzerland only.
Everything happens online through video calls, email and a shared preview link. I’m based in Zurich (Central European Time), and my prices are in CHF. Payments in other currencies will be converted by your payment provider.
For projects outside Europe, full payment is required upfront.
-
My UX background means I look beyond how a website looks. Before designing anything, I plan what your visitors need to find and do, so your website is both thoughtful and easy to use. And when it’s ready, I hand it over with the guidance you need to manage it yourself.
-
I work in English and Italian for calls, emails and website content.
Your website can also be in German if you provide the finished text, or I can set up Weglot for automatic translation. In that case, you’ll be responsible for checking that the translations are accurate.
SQUARESPACE AND YOUR CURRENT WEBSITE
-
Squarespace brings everything into one system: hosting, security, the editor and updates are included, so there's nothing technical to maintain. It works with Swiss .ch domains, has the key SEO settings built in, and is the easiest of the three to edit yourself.
-
No, I work only with Squarespace. Focusing on one platform means I know it deeply and work faster for you.
-
Yes. The design is rebuilt in Squarespace, and your text and images move over. Ask me for a quote.
-
Yes. I design with editing in mind and show you exactly how in your handover call.
-
Yes, in two ways: with Weglot, which translates automatically and handles the setup search engines need, or with separate pages for your translated text. I'll recommend the best fit for your site and budget.
PROCESS AND TIMING
-
2 to 4 weeks for a website package, counted from when your content is ready. A refresh takes one day (4 to 8 hours) on a date we agree, and a template setup about 2 weeks.
-
Not at all. I create a simple wordmark and choose fonts and colors with you.
-
For 2 weeks after launch, fixes are included: anything that doesn't work as we agreed, or a broken link, a mobile glitch or a typo. Changes are anything new, like a new page, a different design or a new feature.
If you need something new further down the line, months later, I can take care of it at CHF 100/hour. Alternatively, you can purchase a 3-hour support pack for CHF 250, paid in advance and valid for 6 months. -
Your logo and brand colors, if you have them, 1–2 portraits, around 8–12 other photos, your website content (or at least an idea of what you want to say), and access to your domain if you already have one.
-
Plans change, I understand. Let me know at least 7 days before your start date and we'll find new dates, with your deposit carried over.
The full terms are in the agreement you sign before we start.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
-
50% to book your dates, 50% at launch. The price in your proposal is the final price.
-
Yes, a few, paid directly by you so everything stays in your name: your Squarespace plan, your domain, and optional tools like Weglot or a booking app. I'll list them in your proposal, so there are no surprises.
SEO AND VISIBILITY
-
Yes, for small business websites it covers the technical basics automatically: a secure https connection, mobile-friendly pages, clean page addresses and a sitemap for Google. You can also edit page titles, descriptions and image alt text, and set up redirects. What makes the real difference is how your site is structured and what you write on it, and that's where I help.
-
Every site includes the essentials: page titles and descriptions, image alt text, a clear page structure and a connection to Google Search Console, if you want it. Honestly, no one can guarantee rankings. They build over months, helped by regular content and a Google Business Profile, and I'll show you where to start.
